Kristal’s Story

My name is Kristal, and I live in New Mexico with my husband. I'm 52 years old and have stage 2 triple-negative breast cancer. I first felt a lump at the end of October 2024, was diagnosed in November, and started chemotherapy and immunotherapy in December. So far, I've completed 15 rounds of chemo and seven of immunotherapy and am looking forward to my last infusion. Next, I will prepare for surgery and pray for good pathology results.

It is impossible to describe to those who have not gone through it just how difficult cancer can be — physically and mentally. I am beyond grateful for the love and support of my family and the kindness of strangers as I navigate this journey.
