2 of 50- Run a Nonprofit for the First Time

Well, as of December. Boxed by an Angel is an official 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization! So, I can cross another one off the list. Our first board meeting will take place later this month and I am SO very excited for what God is going to do through this organization.

Our nonprofit status will open the doors to do more than just provide custom care boxes, we will be able to help more women here in our community through the Breast Cancer Foundation of Central Florida and beyond!

It has been almost three years since I launched Boxed by an Angel and it hasn’t been easy. Working full time, going through reconstruction surgeries, taking care of my family…it’s easy to over do it. But I can say every piece of feedback and heartfelt email from our recipients has made it all worth it. Every second I have spent pouring into this organization has come back to me in meaningful ways I can’t describe. I will never forget how loved and supported I felt during my own journey, almost 11 years ago…and I want to pay it all forward with God’s help.
