Michelle’s Story

My story is basically this: I was diagnosed with Stage 2 HER2-positive, hormone-negative breast cancer in June 2022. I kicked ass—went through chemo, surgery, radiation and more chemo—for a total of 16 months. I came out the other side cancer-free until this past January, when I had a seizure after exercising.

When I woke up in the ER, I was told I had a 2.2 cm brain tumor. We later determined it was a spread of my original cancer. I just finished five rounds of brain radiation and will be meeting with my team of oncologists after an upcoming PET scan.

I have complete faith in God and am facing this with the belief that this is an assignment from Him. I know He has already healed me—we just have to play it out.
