Susan’s Story

I’m a 37-year-old warrior. I was diagnosed in December 2024 with Stage 1 invasive ductal carcinoma — ER-positive, PR-positive, HER2-negative. I underwent a double mastectomy in February and am still recovering and healing from that surgery.

Throughout this journey, I’ve shared updates with friends and family that have been positive and uplifting. I’ve tried to show others that it’s OK to stay brave and optimistic through it all — and, most importantly, to raise awareness.

I will begin injections and hormone suppression therapy in April.
